Everyone who lives in the Goldsmith Avenue and Grafton Road area are aware of the problem.Cars use the route from Horn Lane, down Grafton Road, down Goldsmith Avenue, down Goldsmith Road turn left, down East Churchfield Road, turn right to the Uxbridge Road and onwards to Shepherds Bush - as a short cut thus avoiding the traffic lights and congestion by Morrisons. And the same happens in reverse, but with a detour round Poets Corner, which must be equally irritating, especially in the evenings - with cars often speeding along Shakespeare Road in hurry to get home.Lorries try it sometimes, but get stuck at the Grafton Road/Goldsmith Avenue L junction. So which way round do residents want the one way system to work? Up from Horn Lane or down to Horn Lane? The counting presumably is to determine which route is used the most and thus the one which should have the reverse one way system.I think down to Horn Lane - with a cut off and no through route in the Poets corner location.
