Can anyone recommend a good plumber/general builder?

As I have not had any replies does this confirm my theory that it is very difficult to get a good plumber or builder?

Have you looked under Services/Home Improvements/Plumbing ? There are a number of plumbers listed, with feedback available.Hope this helps.

You could try Sylvester who lives in Perryn Road. We have used him for lots of decorating jobs including flooring and tiling but also for doing a patio. He can turn his hands to most things and can certainly do bits of general plumbing and electrical work. He is currently doing some work at St Dunstan's Church. I used myplumber recently 020 8996 2930, and the chap who came was efficient and pleasant. I called in the morning and he came that afternoon in exactly the 2hr timeslot specified. They also do some building work - I'm not sure exactly what, website is my-plumber.co.uk I chose them because they were highly rated on the local services listing.

How odd, I did post a reply ages ago.I've used John, 07778143541 for about 10 years now. He's great. Knows what he is doing, lovely chap and perfectly safe. Also, good prices.I can't recommend him highly enough.
