Acton stalwart in hospital - needs laptop loan

Can anyone help?Nancy is quite poorly with double pneumonia and would really appreciate the loan of a new-ish laptop which can take a wifi dongle (she has the dongle!) so that she can join the world from her hospital bed.I don't have one.Does anyone?It would probably be for a week or so (she hopes)many thanks

Actually my husband donated his - I had forgotten it even existed - and we installed her with it and dongle and therefore access to the world a couple of days ago. She seemed much cheered...and in this weather and with pneumonia, hospital probably the best place for her.

Hurray because I worry about your comment about hospital being the best place for someone.I think we should ebcourage all friends and relations to use a simple mobile and learn how to text.  Easier said that done I know but the kids should be good at teaching Granny and Grandad.

It wasn't wholly serious.She doesn't need simple anythings - being a writer for websites by trade and not old. Just doesnt use an up-to-date laptop much. A darn sight more adept at it all than I am though.
