The road junction looks so much wider then! It hasn't really changed that much. Not sure what date the postcard is but in 1907 the bakers was Banham's (now solicitors), the next shop on Churchfield Rd was Mrs King, Tobacconist, and then Charles Ryan, Dairy (what is now Sham's chip shop) You can just see the edge of Hooper's Greengrocers - I assume that is why the little mews was, and still is, called Hooper's Mews.
