Hosepipe bans this summer ?

Water companies are saying there will be hosepipe bans and even standpipes this year. I have been reporting a leak coming up through our road and going down the drains at the rate of a bucket a second since Christmas. If only I could harness it

and check out water butts etc.  The Council 100 litre looks like it could be a good deal if you get two.  Thames Water's offer I didn't think was anything special.

We are so miserly with water, I kid you not.  Even the water company couldn't believe how little we use.  Mind you, we've become so miserly with all sorts of things.  We had great satisfaction over the past year in reducing our electric and gas by over half.  Mind you, we're cold and smelly but at least we're not paying huge amounts on utilities!(The last sentence is only a joke!)
