Olympic size swimming pool in Acton? Front page article
"Acton is going through major transformation at the moment such as the Olympic sized swimming pool being fitted and Crossrail being introduced"I'd love it to be true but I thought Acton was sadly losing its long pool and gaining a 25m 8-lane pool. In 2005 we were talking about a pool off Bollo Lane but I understood there was no money. Gurnell although 50m sometimes (and not in Acton) didn't meet Olympic standards.
