Frogs/toads/spawn

hi, if anyone has the above in their garden and would like to help spread wildlife in Acton let me  know, I designed my garden as a miniature nature reserve full of native British wild flowers and a small pond, a perfect home for the critters :)) Thanks, Gareth

We have a fair bit of spawn in our pond if you'd like to come and get some. We live in Avenue Gardens, drop me a message for details.

Or wide spaced wire-netting does the job apparently.Now why on earth do I know that?No pond and no spawn. (and no heron!)

No pond and no spawn. (and no heron!) You could get a Minor bird, and name it Schubert.

You may find they discover you by themselves: when I was a child the family pond was regularly cleared of goldfish by the heron, but when cleaning it out we discovered it had been colonised by newts, which the heron either didn't like, or couldn't catch, as they survived for many years!
