Mice from Council-owned property

I have mice coming into my flat, and the flats above (including the communal area). I've had a pest control company come round to do all the usual removal/prevention for a fee.  They advised that the mice are coming in from the property next door, which is owned by Ealing Council.We've notified the council, had a few emails back and forth saying they are 'looking into it' but 6 months later - we still have mice!Apart from paying for yet another pest control company to come, is there ANYTHING I can do??!

we  had  that  rats  etc  had  to  get  the  local mp  on to  it  the  promlem  was leaving  their  rubbish  out in  carrier  bags in  ther  front garden  one  family  did  it  then  the  others followed q from  the  council  was IT  WAS  UP  THE  PEOPLE  LIVING  THEIR  ITS THEIR  GARDEN  THEIR  UP KEEP THEIR  RUBBISH  got  cleaned once  back  to  the old  promlem  now again  so  here  we go  again

Pest control is down to the tenant under the tenancy agreement. However where a whole building is infested the council might be persuaded that they should fund treatment (from memory RBKC were forced to treat a whole estate for pharoes ants following a successful legal challenge)I paid the council £60 or so a while back to treat rats. A friend has just paid a private firm £110 for mice treatment, I suspect they are coming from the adjoining semi under the floorboards......

In my daughter's flat in Kilburn, we thought mice our responsibility and were just getting our act together when Camden the leaseholder and landlord to about half the flats, intervened and did the lot at no extra charge to the tenants. Apparently the whole block was infested.
