Recommendations please

I would like to build a 3x4m studio at the bottom of our garden to be used as my upholstery studio. I would like the studio to be insulated and have some designs ready. I have a good budget for the job. I'd like to source my own windows, doors, roof and floor so looking for a joiner who I can work with on this. Has anyone done something similar and able to recommend?

I did some research on this ages ago and tehre are a couple of local places specialising in this sort of kob I seem to recall.Sarah Hamilton Fairley has a lovely one at the bottom of her garden - do you know her?

There are loads of builders in Southall who have years experience of building 'studios' in gardens.They don't need planning permission either. Or so I'm led to believe.

Well pardon me do.It wasn't intended to be funny,or helpful as it happens but thank God you and no one else can dictate how people reply on these forums as long as there is no abuse. You seem to be blissfully unaware of the other thread and if ignorance is bliss,'tis folly to be wise.

Is the Ideal Home Exhibition still on?  A few years ago there was a company displaying lovely wooden insulated cabins for use as workrooms/offices etc.  Worth checking out?
