Crikey - they discovered they had a pig in a poke quickly then.Must mean they are hoping a potential buyer does no research because one that did would discover its virtually worthless.

How many houses border the greens?  Is it worth each house chipping in what they can afford and sticking in a bid?! I don't live there but would quite like to own a bit of those greens.  I would then feel better when telling off the people who allow their dogs to run wild in there and snap at you through the bars.  There are at least a couple of people who use one of the greens who shouldn't be allowed to own a dog.Hmm .. maybe best I stay out of it, I'd end up being a real dictator!  :-)

Yes, but I doubt that any real profit was made. Allsop require vendors to purchase space in their catalogue at a minimum of £900 plus VAT; add in commission and I think the whole transaction will have been lucky even to wash its face, as they say on Bargain Hunt.What the NEW new owners think they can get for it, I can't imagine: perhaps it's some sort of corporate tax write-off.
