banana chips

I love dried banana but have bought a 500g bag of sugar coated banana chips fried in coconut oil (best before July 2012) by mistake! I won't eat them. Would anyone like them? I opened the packet today, but sellotaped it shut as soon as I realised my mistake. Seems like a waste to throw them into my recycling caddy....

Nicola, if anyone gives me Ferrer Rocher - or more like - gives Malcolm some - you are most welcome. They are almost the only chocolates I deem not worth getting fat for. Oh and charbonnel and Walker Rose or Violet creams but they don't happen. And Terry's Chocolte Orange - but the children have first dibs on those.

Yuck. Ferrero Rochers. Surely not made of Rice Krispies, but won’t say what I think they’re made of as it might put you off. As my sister tells me: don’t yuck other people’s yum. Sara, sorry to disappoint, but Theobroma etc won’t ever be rejected from this house.Does no one want my banana chips? Food recycling tomorrow evening so after 5 they will be in the bin.

Went to Isola Bella in Golders Green last night - there's a branch in Westfield too - and had cheesecake with chocolate sauce and chocolate icecream which was phenomenal

Sorry to hear that Jen.  You will have to eat double at Easter! Chocolate Cream Eggs, yum yum.  Just demolished a box of Milk Tray....all because the lady loves....sorry, they weren't delivered by some macho guy jumping off cliffs, damn!Double chocolate gateau for later????

who can eat only a couple squares any how?...not me!Just had a rather large portion of home-made lemon meringue pie, all these gastronomic delights and, still I don't put on weight.  Oh well, back to the chocolate.

We went to the chocolate festival.  Very worthwhile, tasted lots of amazing things.Went to a demo by chocolatier Paul A Young (not the singer!)  He's very engaging and his chocolates are ... interesting.  Tobacco leaf caramel left my throat numb for hours, and as for the roquefort, walnut and honey truffle - hmmm.
