Just moved to W3: Local Friends Needed!

I've just moved to Goldsmith Road and I would love to meet some new local friends to go for drinks at The Rocket with or a coffee/walk in the park!  I'm 37, professional, single, straight and friendly.  Please get in touch!  Rachael x

Hi Rachel - the Rocket is a great place and I'm sure you'll meet new people there!  Look at this forum and The Rocket's website as there are a number of groups that meet there as well!

Rachael I believe a Book Club meets at The Rocket, I'm sure a member of Book Club will post details for you,  or use the search box,  think it is 1 Sunday per month.There is also The Park Club up the road where you would meet people.

where abouts have you moved from? Churchfield road, lots going on Rocket good place, if you are up for local eats i know many places

We have a local community association - next social a quiz at kalinka on friday 16 April at kalinka. Plus things at rocket include book club - you just missed one today - two film clubs, comedy nights and poetry reading. Theres live music at the kings head on the mount and there was jazz at the station house - but not my Thing so don't know details.

Quiz is on Friday 20th Rocket has a house band called A Little Bird Told Me - next gig on Thurs 12th but normally on first Thursday of the month.Enjoy!

Sara mentioned an eatery called Kalinka..and I wondered if it was a Russian place!  A quick check on the Internet comes up with this fine picture of a jumbo meal served there. Must give it a visit... :0)(by si-lui on flickr)

I tHink it started Turkish/ portuguese - not sure what it is now. Good grills when last there
