Bunting in Churchfield Road

Has anyone else noticed the crappy plastic stuff they have half-heartedly strung up on Churchfield Road as part of the 'Love Acton' effort. Wonder how much that cost? Looks like they bought some from a very cheap pound shop and got someone to write 'Love Acton' in felt tip on a few of the flags. It's so depressing. We're better off without it - or am I just feeling grumpy?

They had cheap bunting up at the market last Saturday, very tacky.  Did anybody notice that the stalls are now black and were in a straight line (Right Dress, (military term,))  You could hardly see the stall holders.Love Acton....who's fooling who?Anyone buy a T-shirt?

HAve done considerable bunting research and anything half way decent is jolly expensive.I suppose if they had put up the nice stuff, we would all have whinged about the cost!

Yes you are  just grumpy! There is no pleasing some people is there?I am sure you would have done better yourself but you would have rather have ended up moaning. Have a word with Dave the vicar who organised some bands for the Acton love in. Ask him if his event was crappy. Shame on you, you moaner!

Stop moaning about the bunting then. Someone made an effort and it went down well with the locals that I know. Like I said there is no pleasing some people.

all the bunting in the world can't hide the fact that the stalls are not a patch on what they used to be and most of the stuff sold is tat

I agree most of the stalls are absolute tat,  apart from the cheese which did look good but I'm not a cheese fan.
