parking in goldsmith avenue
Dear Forumthe parking situation in our part of goldsmith has become intolerable and without wanting to sound too dramtic the worst i have ever experienced in london. Most drivers dont seem to care about how or where they park in this area and so take up more than one space leaving less space for others. i can never get outside my house to park let alone close by which is really difficult with a young family. My neighbour who has 2 vans and a car with the car parked on his drive and the vans taking up valuable car parking space on the road mainly outside my house blocking my views and creating an eye sore. when i parked over his drive way his answer to me was to sell the car or concrete over the front of my house. neither options are suitable. I have a young fammily and being able to park close to my house is a must. I know this is not us being fussy and over sensitive residents as my other neighbour is suffering too. Does anyone else have similar problems and have you managed to resolve it. Do you know if the council take parking issues seriously in our area and is there anything that can be done to make people more responsible about how and where they park. It would be good to hear your views. regards alex
