Pavement Widening on the High Street

Although nice to have more pedestrian space does anyone else think the new wider pavement on the Uxbridge Road near the Bingo has been poorly thought out (or maybe it's just me)?  Once the temporay asphalt ramps are removed it's going to be a real pain for anyone with a baby buggy as the pavements are so high and there is no dip whenever the pavement meets an intersecting side road.Who can I complain to at the Council?

If they have any sense, they will put in drop kerbs.

They've already completed quite a bit of this and haven't put in drop kerbs so far.

I could have remembered this wrong but I thought thiis area was having road and pavement the same height, the theory being that motorists oils have to drive more carefully? So maybe the road will be raised? It stuck in my mind at the time because I didn't get the logic. But like I said I may be wrong it was a while ago.

Thanks Milena, hope that's the case.  Not something I considered they'd be doing, as you say not the most logical option.
