Garden waste

Sorry for raising this again, but you really couldn't make this up. I have returned home today to find a letter through my door from Ealing Council. It thanks me for subscribing to the new garden waste service and then someone has written (by hand) that my re-usable garden waste sack has been left with number xx.Two things:I have not subscribed to this serviceThe number that the bag has (allegedly) been left at, is actually my own addressNeedless to say, no bag is anywhere to be found.

Who delivered the supposed bags on behalf of the council, enterprising Enterprise Ltd?A neighbour of mine is still waiting for their wheelie bin, just wondering where it's been left!

Mine arrived today no problem - but I was in so cant see why they were left outside with a note.

On the Ealing site, there's a front page announcement that Enterprise are still picking up garden waste for free until May 1st. They left our pink bag last week.I have subscribed to the new pick up on 23 March and still await bags,  complained and told will be sent in 3 days,  still no bags,  complained today and told they have no idea when sending.

We should claim back a month's worth of costs from Ealing Council!! £3.33p. Not much but there is a principal involved here!!

I have bags - but somewhat agree - we were told we were payiong from April 1st for a year, not May 1st but there's no announcement that our contract is to be extended by a month because Enterprise/the council officers concerned couldn't run a bath!

My garden waste has been collected from the old pink bags, so we are getting the service. In fact they have been picking up from anyone.I got the green bags today and had to sign for them.
