How many of us get this delivered regularly? Area by Acton Main Line is meant to but have yet to see any after the first one. Both us and the newsagent fed up and no sensible answer from Trinity Mirror.

We haven't had a local paper in Friary Road for about three years now. We used to get The Leader on a weekly basis but then delivery stopped. I think the reason given was that there was not enough money to pay for someone to distribute it.

The publishers of Ealing & Acton Gazette have told me that our whole area should receive a free copy through their door each week but admitted to a 'few difficulties' with distribution. I suspect this is an understatement...Perhaps those of us who don't receive it - which means we pay 65p - should ring and ask questions.

The free Gazette only started about six months ago. Previously some households received The Leader.
I've lived here for 25 years. We would sometimes get the Leader for a few weeks, then it would stop again. Nothing for at least 10 years now.

Fairly certain that the free Leader stopped when the free Gazette started...
Never heard of the Gazette being delivered free to local homes - we always used to get the Leader then it stopped - there also used to be an Ealing Times shoved through our letterbox on occasions. I'm pretty sure we do get the Gazette delivered - but it comes from Londis every week with our normal daily paper because we ask for it.

Some people are paying 65p buying it at the newsagent and some are having it delivered free to their homes - Trinity Mirror claims it is delivered free to the whole area but this is clearly not so - hence my original enquiry.

We have never received this, I do see it delivered in the mornings in Shakespeare Ave and Goldsmith Ave, but never in Cumberland Park! Can you share the number for the publisher so others can raise their concern?

Thanks, Neil - I contacted the distribution departments at Hammersmith and Canary Wharf about 2 months ago and they both assured me the whole area should receive a free copy. So they may well be interested as to where the papers are going - or not. I will certainly call again next week.
