Worst civil servants to be sacked ...............

At LAST, some common sense, something that needed doing 30 years ago.Hopefully the definition of "Civil Servants" will also include incompetent and lazy Local Council staff.Is Cameron developing unfeasibly large gonads? They are mostly not civil servants - nor are the much criticised SPADS either.

I've never been a civil servant but I have worked in civil service offices as a freelance. The worst types were the 'if I don't do anything then I can't do anything wrong' mob. One boss I had kept a completely empty desk and was to be found sitting all day in his office, staring into space. That was over 25 years ago, admittedly and it's to be hoped that some of the dead wood has been lopped off since then.
