Roadworks at end of Birkbeck Grove/Mansell Road???

Anyone know what's going on at the junction of Birkbeck Grove / The Vale, opposite main Acton Park gates? looks like it'll be whole lot more of a nuisance than it already is getting in and out of our road....we weren't told or consulted. As per.

The plan was to tidy up and de-clutter the High Street generally and make it more appealling with lighting etc. But I am not sure about the details of the highway changes.

Maybe everyone else is working - I was just thinking the same thing. I finished a three-day job yesterday and haven't girded loins to start next thing so am pootling about, wasting my life electronically (and thinking about coffee!)
