Original plant demolished a year or so ago, without any permissions whatsoever, polluting the locality to a PM10 level of 10 out of 10 for days on end, complaints made to Ealing Council, and - NOTHING. So, proceed to build another much bigger plant, in a different location, completely against the original Planning Permission requirements of 11/11/64, complaints made to Ealing Council, and - allow Hanson to apply for a more easily obtained Certificate of Lawful Development, instead of insisting they apply for full Planning Permission, like most mere mortals have to do.Also complain about the proven Noise Nuisance, and, after 6 months of noisy operation (once starting at 05:30 am!), Ealing Council are still "talking" to the perpetrators.Hanson Cement, Big Company plc - watch Ealing Council roll over on this. Noel Rutherford, Environment Group Director, Ealing Council, has already produced a wordy letter paving the way and softening the local residents up for the usual gutless Council decision which will allow this travesty. What do YOU think is going on with Ealing Council, go figure.
