Any up-date on the Grafton Rd one-way system!

Any uo-date available from the Ward Forum meeting on the proposed one-way system on Grafton.  If so, is it going ahead and, if so which way is it going?I would expect the gates at Acacia and Craine to be removed and, the system to run from Messaline to Horn.  People on Grafton would like to know, as we a pretty hacked off with the rat run and the seriously inconsiderate drivers who can't reverse into a space to let others through.

I would have been but, mobility is taking it's toll, along with the side effects of steroids.  Mind you, it would have been fun demolishing our councillors.  The scatty one would have got flustered, again.

No officers turned up - the councillors were very irritated.There is a money saving proposal to NOT do a one-way at all but to insert a couple of passing places instead - sounded a wholly idiotic idea.I have written to the officers requesting that Goldsmith Avenue, Baldwyn gardens, Cumberland Park etc be included in the consultation.And saying mood of meeting very against passing space option.

Passing places could work well.  just a pain if they happen to be outside your property as will reduce available parking.

Not sire they were in the plural and certain not more than two. I would have thought they will make it very little better

If it does go ahead there will need to be serious speed restrictions/checks on Acacia Road -as the road is wider than Grafton cars/lorries etc go far too fast already at the Cumberland Park/Acacia Road corner  Children are in danger therefore when crossing Acacia to get to school
