The list of current licensing applications is on the Ealing Council website athttp://www.ealing.gov.uk/downloads/download/800/current_applicationsThe latest Morrison's application is on page 11 of 144. The document also still includes their application from 2011 (on page 128) which seems similar but must have been turned down. The guidance on making objections is at http://www.ealing.gov.uk/downloads/download/835/making_representations_about_any_application_for_new_or_for_variations_to_licencesDownload the 'Making Representations' pdf At the foot of page 2 it says under the heading 'Making Representations':'Representations should be made in writing to the licensing authority where the premises are situated. Licensing authorities may also accept representations by email, but you may want to check first with the licensing authority that this is the case. If email representations are accepted the interested party must also send thelicensing authority a hard copy.'I can't find an email address for this but will try to drop a letter into the Town Hall tomorrow. The guidance also offers this advice:'All representations must be about the likely effect of granting the licence or certificate on the promotion of at least one of the four licensing objectives. It would be wise, therefore, to explicitly link any representation to one or more of the objectives.'Earlier in the document the four licensing objectives are given as:The prevention of crime and disorder;Public safety; The prevention of public nuisance; andThe protection of children from harm.Need a coffee now...
