Tax disc stolen

Relative just noticed the tax disc missing from the car. Any else had this happen ? The only time the car has been open and unattended was while getting petrol from Shell garage where someone fills it while you go and pay....Report in the paper says stealing tax discs is latest 'popular' crime!

Have the Police been notified? - if not call 101.Most garages have CCTV because of the problem of cars driving off without paying, so good chance there is evidence if it was stolen at the garage.
