Can anyone recommend a local firm please?

The Oven Cleaning Company - 01252 783583Name is right - not sure about the numberI had Tim from them round - twice.it's not cheap but he does a fabulous job including all the shelves etc.

Even with one, this service stands out - because he has the right equpment and experience it seems to take muych less time and be more thorough than someone with elbow-grease and oven cleaner (have tried that!)I have it done once a year and it makes a lot of difference.

Sara,  do you need an oven cleaner?  You always seem to be eating out or getting take away!  Sorry I could not resist as I can resist everything but temptation as Oscar once said!

Get Lakeland's own brand oven cleaner, works brilliantly!

Everything in excess - when I cook I do lots (£40s worth of chicken wings for street party for instance) dinner for eight or ten, seder at Passover for 25 and maybe 15 or more at Xmas.Plus descending children and their friends on occasion.Just not every night!The oven gets very well used thanks.

An old fashioned trick.  Use a wallpaper steamer and loads of newspaper (for cleaning up the drips).  No nasty chemicals and your oven will come up like new as the grease just falls off.  If you don't own one, you can hire one.
