I would not be surprised if they both run on some kind of Linux distribution, but I would not know which disc format or filing system is in use (perhaps ext2). However it may be possible to read the disc using a computer running Linux (perhaps running on a "live" CD such as Knoppix) and copy the files. The main problem then would be getting both the files and their archive information listed in the recording database, although that may "just work". Unfortunately the industry sometimes tries to comply with copyright restrictions.
