Berrymead Gardens W3

Does anyone have personal experience of living in Berrymead Gardens, W3, just off Acton High St.?  I have a friend who is thinking of buying a house there and who is wondering whether it is a road that is safe to walk back to from public transport at night, particularly for teenage children.  Many thanks for your opinions.

I have lived in Berrymead Gardens since 1995 and have experienced no problems. I find it really handy as it's just off the High Street and a 10 minute walk to Acton Town Tube Station. Both my neighbours are familes with children. The back gardens are also quite large.

We have a teacher friend who has lived there for 11 years and has brought up three children with no concerns for their safety or welfare. The children are all girls, two of them teenagers, who walk to and from local schools on a daily basis with no qualms.Berrymead Gardens is a one-way street and the flow of traffic is quite light. And because it's not a busy pedestrian thoroughfare, it's quite quiet too. Strangely, this particular friend has her fabulous house on the market as we speak (at the bottom end of Berrymead Gardens). It's recently had a new attic conversion and looks lovely.And, no, we're not on commission!

Access to public transport is fine although parking is often a nightmare as the council keep letting small time developers split houses into flats meaning that there are a lot of households (and associated cars) for the size of the street.
