Acton Baths Update?

Planning permission received only recently but work has already begun on the old Priory School. Even the Magistrates Court has workmen on site but the Baths has been boarded up for over 6 months with no sign of action. Memo to LBE that you promised re-opening for 2014 and that we really miss the baths. Anyone like to tell us what's happening?

I think it's not part of the plan as the MoJ didnt sell it to the scheme - I think Ealing werent willing to pay what the MoJ wanted - though that was under market rate.Last I heard it wasn't being considered/included or anything.I may be out of date though.

I've just had a look online and there's an application pending for:"Change of use from magistrates court (Use Class D1) for residential use (Use Class C3); conversion of existing building to create 7 self contained residential units; construction of a two storey building to create two maisonettes; and alterations to the rear of the superintendents house"So it seems it's going to be flats. They look good from the plans, with parking and roof terraces for each property.

If they are keeping most of the fascia and what the building actually looks like, that is good news
