Foley's
So, CityDeal, the estate agents taking over Foley's weren't allowed to put up a shop sign by Ealing Council because:"The proposed externally illuminated fascia sign spanning the first and second floor on the north west elevation, by reason of its excessive scale, inappropriate colour scheme and prominent corner location, would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the locally listed building and the conservation area. As such, the proposed development would be contrary to policy 4.1, 4.7, 4.8 and 4.10 of the Ealing Unitary Development Plan 'Plan for the Environment' (2004) and policies 2.15, 7.4, 7.5 and 7.8 of the London Plan (2011)."So my question is, how will Ealing council grant planning to the periscope? Surely that will break all those rules above too won't it?
