Are you sure it needs repairing? Maybe it just needs a little maintenance.I was talking to a man from a Reuse & Recycling Centre a couple of weeks ago and he said that they had an awful lot of vacuum cleaners brought in and he mentioned Dysons in particular. Many of them just had not had the filters changed or cleaned.I have never used a Dyson but my in-laws insisted on a Hoover with a bag because they couldn't cope with no bag. This has filters and when it stopped working recently I checked those (because nobody else had thought to). I sorted those out but then found that it had been used on a new carpet and the rollers were full of fluff and that was also easy to pull out.However I also found that the belt was broken presumably because the fluff had interfered with the roller. It was easy to source one online and replace it. The Hoover is now working fine. All it needed was some TLC.If you look for one of the online electrical stores like e-spares you will find that there is information on fixing some of these things even videos. You can often find instruction booklets for your machine if you've mislaid yours.There is a man who mends Hoovers on Mattock Lane in Ealing who may also mend other brands.
