Acton & Willesden RLFC
A name I had not heard before until recently reading a book called 'Rugby League in the 20th Century'.As an ex-pat Northener and Acton resident I was interested to read about the A&W club which was born in 1935. Originally playing at the Sports Ground in Park Royal, they quickly moved to Mitcham before folding in 1936.There seems to be little more about the club in print or picture. I was wondering...is there a repository for old newspaper articles and/or photos in the locality?
