Woody Grill - Acton High Street - Now open!

Just passed this new restaurant and popped in out of curiousity.Apparently it has just opened today, we chatted with a very friendly chap behind the counter. He explained about the sort of food they will be serving. It is Turkish food by the way.Some customers seemed to be enjoying their meals. We had just eaten elsewhere but said we would call in one of these days.The prices seem reasonable!Has anyone tried the food there yet?

No but it's part of a small chain - one in Shepherd's Bush and another couple in Kilburn High Road.My daughter has tried the Kilburn Road ones and says mostly they are OK - though there was a question about hygiene in one and her friends dont go to that one.

According to daughter who went there last night, she told her dad that it was C**P and said she won't be going back.....Haven't spoken to her myself yet to find out why !!

I went in for a takeaway on Monday night.  Was very nice.  There were quite a few people eating in and the atmosphere reminded me of a Turkish version of some of those Lebanese restaurants on Edgeware Road.  Worth trying I think.

The place looked clean and staff welcoming.  The lamb excellent.  Reminded me of my visit to the middle east.Same price as Macdonalds just along the road!70p for a can of fizzy drink.

Just been for a meal here. It is essentially a take-away with restaurant tables. Don't expect a 5* gourmet experience, but the food is very good and plenty of it for your money. We ended up taking some of it home as we couldn't eat it all. Free bread and sauces. We would have a take-away from here.Delicious 'real' lemonade!
