I'm sorry I couldn't hear a word you said
http://www.actiononhearingloss.org.uk/news-and-events/south-west/news/the-zimmers-launch-campaign-urging-bristolians-to-get-hearing-checks.aspxThere is a free hearing check on the above website.Apparently:"It takes, on average, 10 years for people to get their hearing checked and unaddressed hearing loss can lead to social isolation." Yes it takes more effort and becomes more difficult to communicate so please do something about it if you notice you can't hear as well as you used to. The funny misunderstanding stop being so funny when they are no longer just occasional and you don't know what the doctor opr nurse said (and you won't realise half of what you missed) and you will find it harder to remember things - because you didn't have the added advantage of having heard something as well as reading it/seeing it.
