Looking for an old post

There was an old post a few months ago about how to put pictures on the forum with step by step pictures.I believe it was Bob Crossley who took the time to do it. Tried the Forum Search engine but it is not very efficient - is it?

Credits to Richard JenningsVery briefly: if it's one of your own pics, you need to get it on to the web somewhere, typically either a photo storage site such as fotopic.net or your personal web page if your ISP provides that facility (Blueyonder does, and I now use that). Then you insert a line that looks something like this :This basically says "display the img [image] whose src [source] is http://..... [the web address of the photo, normally ending in .jpg]" The alt thing is the alternative text which is displayed if the photo can't be found or if the user has images turned off in his browser; good practice to include it but not essential.Two other points of advice: try to avoid displaying large files, as they will take ages to load for people with dial-up connections; and be careful of copyright restrictions if the photo isn't yours. Yes, that's the way to do it, now that the photo sites provide the HTML code.  Well done, Nicola!  Certainly better than trying to understand an incomplete copy of something I wrote 7 years ago.

MarlenePut your image on Flicker.Open a Flicker account, your details will be you e-mail address.Select picture to upload, click open, upload to photostream.  Once your picture is in photostream, click on it, click share, get HTML code, highlight it, right click, COPY.  Then backtrack to your string, reply, paste, submit reply.Ideal size for image is 4"x3" @ 150 dpi.  Also 5"x4" @ 150 dpi.

Thanks Nicola and everyone else. I'm using Photobucket on a MAC and you use Flickr on a PC but I think I've got the gist of it. Perhaps I need to resize things.Take 2:
