and the winners are......
Ealing Council tops the league table for fines for the use of bus lanes. Apparently a total of 24690 fines at say £65 (double if not paid swiftly) is a lovely minimum revenue 1,599.000 to swell the council's coffers and do lovely things with like build new and renovate old schools, etc. etc. Apparently 3% of the total fine revenue was made from that stupid traffic jam causing bit of useless bus lane on Horn Lane. One could call it legalised daylight robbery!
