From what I saw of it, they wanted password and e-mail conformation. I have done a web search on AT&T and it appears they have found an illegal way of scamming, or should I say a loophole that should be closed.BT have recently issued a warning about bogus e-mails claiming to be from them, (BT) but who bothers to read all the way through the various sections of their accounts?No way would I put bank details on the internet, even if it states secure (https.) I deal a`lot with John Lewis on line and other large companies like Warehouse Express and a family retailer, Woody's of Wembley, far better to check the website, then make a phone call to the official number, then make them confirm your account (A/C No needs response from them, (my personal security code.)) Better still, have a named contact if a smaller retailer.
