Links on FaceBook and TwitterPremises Premises…As well as the exciting news about our High Street Gallery further improvements are currently taking place across w3….At long last both Acton Vale Community Centre and our own North Acton Pavilion will have full wireless and IT training/conferencing capacity by the end of September. We’re also looking to celebrate our first year at NAP on the 4th October – more details to follow…Arts news…Our new Gallery will finally be open to the public on Saturday 29th September. The first exhibition will feature work created during the LOVE ACTON campaign. There will be a mix of art forms and themes include graphic design, maps, historical photographs and prints.See the poll on our website to help choose a name for the gallery.We are planning for the 29th to be a day of arts in Acton with the Arts on the Mount. This will include launching this year’s Art Hits the Streets, the SPOTLIGHT 2012 performing arts festival, craft market as well as the gallery opening. Do get in touch if you’d like to get involved. Acton Community Forum Not to be outdone the ACF team decided that our Hardy Court HQ needed a makeover after all these years and paintbrush in hand said a final farewell to the old pink palace and worked hard to create a bright new working environment for staff, volunteers and local groups and residents.
