A well balanced and objective article all round. Didn't know Acton was quite so expensive though ; £230K for a 1-bedroom flat.

What about the bad bits...not mentioned?Over population, the ghastly tower block (The Oaks) and the winos.Did see a poster in someone's window: BLOCK the tower BLOCK, re: The Oaks redevelopment. Where can I get one?

I for one was glad to see a positive article about Acton for once. Yes Acton has its bad bits but it also has more good points than bad.

The article fails to mention Anthony Bell and Heart & Soul, both very worthy of a mention.

Inevitably it's a subjective judgement, but interesting to hear someone say that Acton has more good points than it did 24 years ago. I can well believe it. The past isn't always better than the present.
