More failed recycling

Do Enterprise have an aversion to collecting cardboard, such as, cornflake boxes?  Of course it could be that they are a bunch of incompetents and need to go to Speck Savers.  Several boxes containing cardboard have not been emptied or, the tins and bottles have gone but, the cardboard boxes remain.  Oh well, back to the black bag for everything.

Yes same happened to us last week.  This week they took paper, bottles tins etc and left the cardboard.  It was then collected with the plastics!  Odd new system??

And the rubbish got collected in those days, even we we had the good old Pea Soupers.  What's Enterprises excuse?  We can't see the rubbish/recycling in front of our faces!

Goldsmith area yesterday, Thursday 27 September, random collection of waste from green boxes all along the road.Please if your green box was not emptied, please report to Ealing Council, else this sorry state of affairs will continue.

Despite all the assurances that we have been given, the problem persists.  I really do hope that he gets a rough ride.  Is he prepared to place his political career on the line?  It is time to sort it or, get rid of, no more lies and false promises.  We want a proper efficient service, after all, we pay for it.

And why the Council is prepared to support the ghastly plans for the Oaks site by selling the Churchfield Rd car park to the developer.

Has that gone through?I thought the inclusion of the car park was supposed to make the development less massive, more neighbourhood-friendly. But it seems that its just going to enhance profits.

Another item for 21/11 perhaps:The current condition of the area called 'The Mount' outside Morrisons.- it is filthy, needs to be washed down with hot water after each market day- one broken crushed tree guard which needs replacing else the tree will die- lots of rubbish in the tree pits - don't the cleaners do their jobs properly?- area behind the filthy stainless steel box, full of junk and rubbish - when it is going to be removed?- one crushed bike rack which needs replacingThis area is so depressing - yet another 'planning' disaster.  Bring on the 'new' Oaks to complete the picture!How much money has Ealing Council set aside for maintenance of this area - looks like the answer is 'nothing'.
