Watching the Chancellor on TV and was wondering what people felt about giving up there employment rights for possibly worthless shares in a company?

Shares in the company has always worked for John Lewis partners and offers a culture which is pro customer in a way I don't find in other stores. Not so clear about the need to give up employment rights.

Employment rights were hard fought for and not to be given up lightly. Some of us in the trade union movement struggled for many years to gain improvements, which the Tories hate, of course.
