Many things:*Make all illegal drugs the same class or do away with classes altogether*Zero tolerance*Bigger fines/sentences*Big, big sentences for dealer and smugglers*Deport anyone who's caught and not British*Set good examples themselves, for a start, hands up to mistakes*Declare their own personal policy and thoughts on drugs (ok, they can lie here)*Investigate why people take drugs (and alcohol) - employ experts in the field who work with such people for their experienced advice and findings*Educate the public on how drugs hijack the amygdala and how they suppress the brain producing its own dopamine and serotonin, etc, so we're can make more informed decisions about using*For the young - build sports & leisure facilities, start them at a young age, not just available to those parents who can afford to join such groupsThat's all for now but I have much more to say on this subject and would love to be in a think tank.
