Windmill Pub licensing application

On behalf of the the Churchfield Community Association I monitor licence applications and make representations to the Council's Licensing Panel where we have concerns. There is a current licence application from the Windmill Pub to extend its hours so that it would be open from 8am until 1.30am Monday to Sunday (selling alcohol 10am to 1.30am). The pub has also applied in the licence for music, dancing and discos from 8pm to 1.30am. I would be interested to hear the views of local residents, especially any who live near the pub, e.g. in Grove Road. Please reply by 6 November with any comments.

Maureen, where does one find the list of upcoming licence applications, as the old links I used to use are no longer valid, nor are the links to meeting minutes?

Those who may have just moved into the area and live near to this Public House may be interested in reading the minutes of the Ealing Council Licensing Sub-Committee held on 4 January 2012.  They may be of interest with regard to this current licence application.Just go into the Ealing Council website and search for Licensing Sub Committee 4 January 2012.

I don't think anyone would want it in Grove Road. It is a residential street. I believe a "party pub" is not suitable there, let alone a "party pub" that closes at 1.30am.
