What makes you think that? Tove Jansson was born and died in Finland. She lived on a Finnish island called Klovharu and had a studio in Helsinki according to Wikipedia. I can see no link with Acton but I'm a great fan of the Moomins so I'm intrigued as to why you think they were created here.....

Something to do with the London paper that used to run the cartoon strip made me think of an Acton connection, I know of one snork maiden that lives not far from poets corner.
