Crossrail / Acton Mainline Yard

Just wondering if anyone else is affected by the noise coming from the Crossrail works?  Out of desperation last night I was on the phone to the Crossrail hotline at 11.45 - it's enough that we are having to put up with the air, noise and light pollution from the industrial site directly behind our property but it's now affecting the whole family in the night as well...

Which streets are affected?  I hear something very late at night and can't work out where it's coming from but we're a little removed and when I'm asleep, I'm asleep for ever.

Being asleep for ever sounds a bit, terminal!I can hear thumping sounds, like piles are being driven into the ground.  Just wish the wouldn't do it in the small  hours.

the spotlights are on the cranes and piling machines are ready and we're in for another noisy night, got crossrail's phone number on speed dial and no doubt i'll be using it later AGAIN.....sleep well folks because we won't....btw. no reply from Angie Bray on this one yet.
