Sexual Assault on Myrtle Road 18/11/12 11:30pm

Last night my wife was walking home alone on Myrtle Road around 11:30pm  when a tall black man with a long grey cardigan type top and a baseball cap grabbed her by the breast. She yelled at him and he ran off in the direction of Cumberland Park.She was obviously distraught at this - and typically there was no one answering the non-emergency line at the police station.Please be alert.

Very sorry to hear this and best wishes to your wife. I have to say I find this 101 or 999 business very confusing. In your position I would automatically have dialled 999, am I wrong?

"In your position I would automatically have dialled 999"Me too.  Presumably it was only a few minutes later that Daniel's wife arrived home, and her attacker might well have been still looking for another victim.  It requires a rapid police response - dial 999.
