Didn't they do a superb job?
This year's Calendar is even better that last year's. The funds raised from last year's calendar paid for oak beams for Derwentwater school's lovely raised beds. As the labour was supplied by a number of parents, the money did provide an enormous contribution and is now enabling local children to see how veg. is grown etc. This year's money will be spent on renovating the pond and creating a little nature reserve and windlife area. (Half the pond needs to be dismantled as the pond liner needs to be replaced. Any pond experts offering assistance?) Please be part of this local effort and buy this superb calendar. Its rather subdued cover hides at least one smile a month upon turning each page! £10 for a 12 months of smiling? Cheaper than therapy! And that is not even mentioning Apple and the homeless! Laura at the Village Trading Store has them for sale and on display. Get yours before they've gone!
