What caused the trackside fire at Acton?
Was the trackside fire at Acton which has affected two tracks from Paddington caused by attempted theft of cables? Perhaps it was just due to old equipment. Was it connected with Crossrail work? I hope it was not an indication of the quality and reliability we can expect from Crossrail. I have heard some horrendous stories about work by people not fully trained to UK standards, even if they do have a fully qualified supervisor.
