Council launch money grabbing scheme on disabled drivers
Yet another scheme by this daft council. A disabled parking permit at a cost of £30 a year, to work in conjunction with the blue badge. The idea being that a disabled driver does not have to leave the blue badge in the car overnight, while parked in a disabled bay, (even outside their own home.) This is to reduce blue badge theft. The permit is unique to the car only. Not much use paying £30 for a couple of months, only to repeat the process when I change the car for the latest model. It's about time this labour mob, especially Bassam, wises up to the fact, that their days are numbered. All we have had is, cuts, mismanagement and, fiasco after fiasco. Is there no end to their follies and, stealth taxes?
