My daughter has found a dog wandering in Acton Park, a Yorkshire Terrier I think. There was no one around and it did not have a lead. Anyone lost such a dog....and what's the best thing to do with it?

Hi Glenda, my friend and I found a dog once and took it to the police station. Most dog owners know to report their lost dogs there. Good luck

The police no longer deal with lost dogs the council dog warden will take it off you.Or you could take it to a vet so they can see if it has been chipped.We found a lost dog before and the vet traced the owner through the chip.
