Missing cat: Black/grey tortoiseshell with white paws

A friend asked me to post this:Our little cat Ella has been missing since this morning (Sunday 6th January) from Cowper Road, W3We let her out at 7am as usual and haven't seen her since.We know it's only been about 10 hours but it's most unlike her to not come in every one hour or so at most.We are very worried for her, she's a very docile, sweet friendly girl.Small cat, Colour: Grey, black and white tortoiseshell -- white paws and white handkerchief tie wearing a blue collar.Please check your gardens and sheds.Picture:http://talkacton.com/images/ella.jpgCould someone please make the picture display?Thanks

I saw a similar looking cat run across the road circa 4pm near the corner of Cumberland Park and Woodhurst road. I was not close enough to know for sure that this was Ella.I hope she comes home very soon!

Thank you Sarah! We went and had a look and there was a little cat around there who looked very similar to Ella but sadly it wasn't her. Ella is wearing her brother's blue boy collar. So very grateful for any info / help! She's really meek and docile -- please look out for her. Thanks

Greg - please call vets in this neighbourhood as soon as possible tomorrow.  Is she microchipped/ neutered?  Also phone Cats Protection Lost and Found helpline on 020 8423 1403 and put lots of notices up. It's also worth checking with neighbours in case she has got in a garage or shed. I do hope she comes back safe and well.

Just to update, our cat Ella returned home this afternoon. She is fine if a little hungry. Entirely indifferent to the stress she caused for the last 36 hours!Thanks for all your help, very grateful to our kind neighbours.

Excellent news!  Glad that she is well - it looks as though she had got herself shut in somewhere.  I do hope she is microchipped - it does help if a cat gets lost.  And also please make sure she is neutered - much less likely to stray if she is.

Thanks Nina. Both our cats are chipped and neutered and despite their many protests, we make sure they wear collars :)

Good ! There are so many stray cats around now that we need responsible owners to do everything in their power to make sure that their cats stay safe.  Love to Ella.
