Is this Labour Council not telling the truth about failures?
Enterprise have failed and, have had to make rebates to the council. There were 1865 reported missed collections in 2011 compared to 2632 in 2012. '' Enterprise have had to accept rebates on the contract and will have to accept more. In spite of repeated requests the council will not divulge what they are, citing commercial confidentiality. Evidently the administration wants to kid people that the contract is all fine now so to divulge the extent of financial penalties would undermine their case.'' Would someone explain what "commercial confidentiality" means?Ealing Residents 'Overwhelmingly Satisfied' The council claim that everything is alright with Enterprise, clearly it is not. Why don't the Labour led council come clean, and own up? Please Ealing Council, clean up your RUBBISH, collect our recycling, sweep out streets and, above all, get it rightRe: The Horn Lane Industrial Site. The council have repeatedly failed to fine the known polluters. The last penalty to be issued was in 2006, resulting in a conditional discharge for two years and, an order to pay the councils costs of £6,750The council claim that the pollution levels have dropped consistently from 2005 to 2012. There are those of us who would disagree with the figures. The pollution levels are still far to high, even the EA admit to this. Why is this industrial site in the middle of a residential area allowed to continue? Even Councillor Julian Bell has failed to answer questions put to him directly, with regard to the industrial site. What else are the council keeping from us? After all, we are the electorate and, we have the right to know what failings there are and, we should not be deceived or fobbed off.
